DANNY LYNN KEGLEY

Danny Lynn Kegley, 66 of North Tazewell, VA, passed away Saturday, December 27, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family.  Born in Bluefield, WV, he was the youngest son of the late Ralph Hoover Kegley and Eula Mae Busic Kegley McFarland.  He was the last surviving member of his immediate family.  He was a devoted father and grandfather.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his 3 brothers: Larry Randall Kegley, Barry "Buck" Lane Kegley and Terry Wayne Kegley; stepfather: Rev. Thomas McFarland.

He will be lovingly missed by his two sons: Daniel Joseph "D.J." Kegley and Jon Kegley-Matney; special nephew: Terry "T.J." Kegley, Jr; grandchildren: Abigail Kegley, Danny Jordan Kegley, Jackson Kegley and Kingston Matney; great-grandchildren: Ava and Axel.

The family will have a gathering to share stories and remember Danny's life on Tuesday, December 30, 2025, at Dudley Memorial Mortuary from 5:00-7:00 P.M.  In keeping with Danny's wishes, his body will be cremated.
