CURTIS JOSEPH BERRY

Curtis Joseph Berry, 75 of Bluefield, VA, passed away Saturday, January 26, 2019 at Tazewell Community Hospital following a brief illness. He was born in Piney Grove, WV.  He had served his country in the U.S. Army Green Berets.  Curtis had retired from Flowers Bakery after 42 years of service.  He was of the Pentecostal Faith and enjoyed hunting and golfing in his younger years.  He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Johnnie Berry.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Jane Shupe Berry; son: Kevin Berry; daughter: Renee Rose and husband, Joey; sister: Theresa Shepherd and husband, Rexallen; Brother In-law Rick Shupe and wife Maggie; grandchildren: Ashley, Andrew and Kendale; great-grandchildren: Michael, Dillon and Logan; special niece: Heather Yahya and husband, Joey and their children, Caleb and Jadyn.

In keeping with Curtis's wishes, there will be no public service or visitation. There will be a private service and burial for the family and a few close friends.
