CONNIE SUE HOWERTON

Connie Sue Howerton 50 of Bluefield VA passed away Monday November 22 ^nd at Lewis Gale Medical Center in Salem VA with her family by her side. Born December 23 ^rd 1970 in Cleveland OH to Connie Kelly.

Connie was a free spirit and a strong willed individual. Often throughout life she followed where ever the wind would take her. She loved her children and grandchildren very much. Although she had many battles in her life, her girls and grandson were the reason she would fight for another day. She loved the simple things in life, watching the water while feeding the ducks was one of her favorite things to do. She enjoyed trips to new places, or revisiting old homesteads to see her friends. It didn't take much to make her smile. Her heart was filled with love enough for everyone, even though she was a guarded woman. She was a protector, a warrior, a mother, a grandmother, a sister and now our guardian angel. Her last battle became too much for her to overcome, but she found her way home to be with her mother. R.I.P. mom, we love you dearly!

Connie was preceded in death by her mother Connie Kelly, and will be lovingly missed by her Daughters Fancy Farmer and Victoria Farmer, Brothers Kenny Williams and Joe Burress, Sister Martha Leake and grandson Brent Mullins II.

Following Connie's wishes she will be cremated and service to celebrate her life will be held at a later date.
