CONNIE SUE BEAVERS

Connie Sue Beavers, 78, of Bluefield, VA, passed away Thursday, October 01, 2026 at Westwood Nursing Home. Born in Bluefield, WV, she was the daughter of Ruth Buchanan Maupin of Bluefield, VA and the late Harry Maupin. She enjoyed doing puzzle books, most recently completing several crossword puzzles. In her own words, she was “NOT A SOCIAL BUTTERFLY”. However, she did love spending time and making memories with her family, especially her grandchildren.

In addition to her Mother, she will be lovingly remembered by her children: Candice Waller and husband, Chris of Mounds, OK, Joe Beavers and wife, Beth of Bluefield, VA and Brittnee Hall and husband, Jon of Danville, KY; her siblings: Carol Oliver, Ray Maupin and wife, Susan and Sandy Leedy and husband, Bruce all of Bluefield, VA; her precious grandchildren: Sydney Rodich and husband, Reid of Savannah, GA, Max Waller of Edmond, OK, Nic Waller of Tulsa, OK, Kaimen Beavers of Wilmington, NC, Tison Beavers of Nashville, TN, and from Danville, KY, Savannah Hall, Peyton Hall, Bryce Workman and Bailey Hall.

In keeping with her wishes, her body will be cremated. The family will honor and celebrate Connie’s life in a private service.
