CLARA JANE "JANIE" BOURNE

Clara Jane "Janie" Bourne, 73, of Bluefield, WV, went home to be with her Lord, Saturday, May 30, 2026. Born in Bluefield, WV, she was the daughter of the late Frank Edward and Dorothy Irene Shepherd Wright.  She had worked at Rasi's Grocery Store for many years.  She was a member of Cumberland Heights Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.   Janie loved and adored her grandchildren.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter: Cindy Parker; her son: David Kinder; her siblings: Gail Johnson and Eddie Wright.

She will be lovingly and affectionately missed by her husband and devoted caregiver of 26 years: Jim Bourne of Bluefield, WV; siblings: Billy Wright and wife, Frances of NC and Karen Rasi and husband, Jerry of Bluefield, WV; stepdaughter: Kathy Rider and husband, Jay and their family of Abbs Valley, VA; an extended family of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

A service to celebrate Janie's life will be held Thursday, June 04, 2026 at Dudley Memorial Chapel at 2:00 P.M. with Pastor Jim Kestner officiating. Burial will follow at Maple Hill Cemetery.

Friends may visit with the family on Thursday at the funeral home from 1:00 P.M. until the hour of the service.
