CHRISTOPHER MARK PHELPS

Christopher Mark Phelps, 39 of Roanoke, VA, formerly of Bluefield, WV, passed away Thursday, October 14, 2021.  Born in Bluefield, WV, he was the son of Danny Lee Phelps, Sr of Bluefield, WV and the late Joyce Gay Tessa Phelps.  Chris attended Bluefield High School and enjoyed playing football, camping and fishing.  He had a natural artistic ability.  Most recently, he had worked for a landscaping company.  In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Steve and Edna Tessa and his paternal grandparents, Mack Phelps, Sr and Roberta Phelps.

Those left to cherish Chris' memory are his father: Danny Lee Phelps, SR of Bluefield, WV; his children: Hannah Phelps, Nathan Phelps and Nicholas Phelps all of Princeton, WV; his brother: Danny Lee Phelps, Jr of Brushfork, WV; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

A memorial service to celebrate Chris' life will be held on Thursday, October 28, 2021 at the Church of God of Prophecy in Midway at 6:00 P.M. with Pastor Chalmer Morgan officiating.
