CHARLOTTE WITT NUCKOLS

Charlotte Witt Nuckols, 94 of Bluefield, VA, passed away Friday, June 26, 2020. Born in Richlands, VA, she was the daughter of the late Noel J. and Lavie Steele Witt. Charlotte had been a volunteer for the American Cancer Society and also a member of the Tazewell County Home Demonstration Club. She was a member of Virginia Avenue United Methodist Church. Her favorite past time was doing Word Search puzzles and she enjoyed working in her flower and vegetable gardens. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Joe Douglas Nuckols; siblings: Thelma Witt, Louise Jackson and Noel J. Witt, Jr.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children: Dwayne Nuckols and wife, Pam of Bluefield, VA, Diane McGinnis and husband, John of Bluefield, WV and Teresa Hicks of Bluefield, WV; brother: Harold G. Witt and wife, Wilma of Bluefield, WV; grandchild: Christina McGinnis of Harlem, GA; great-grandchildren: Aslynn and Carlyle Kotlan of Harlem, GA.

A service to celebrate Charlotte's life will be held Monday, June 29, 2020 at Dudley Memorial Chapel at 6:00 P.M. with Rev. Larry Ramey officiating. The interment will be a private service for family only.

Friends may visit with the family on Monday, June 29, 2020 at Dudley Memorial from 5:00 P.M. until the hour of the service.

In lieu of flowers it is the family's request that donations be made to the local chapter of the Alzheimer's Association or to the Diabetes Foundation.
