CHARLES BRITT SMITH, JR
Charles Britt Smith, Jr, 60 of Bluefield, VA, passed away Monday, December 19, 2016 at Princeton Community Hospital. Born June 2 1956 in Dunn, NC, he was the son of the late Charles Britt Smith, Sr and Myrtle Christine Barefoot Smith. Charles graduated from UNC Chapel Hill with a Bachelor's Degree in Economics/Mathematics. He had a love for computers and software and had his own computer software business. He attended St. Mary's Episcopal Church.
He will be fondly and affectionately missed by his wife of 37 years: Stephanie Rose McLeod Smith; his daughter: Caroline Erin Smith; his son: Justin Alexander Smith all of Bluefield, VA; his fur baby cat: Bette Davis.
A memorial service will be held Friday, December 30, 2016 at St. Mary's Episcopal Church at 2:00 P.M. with Rev Russ Hatfield officiating. The family will receive friends at the church following the service.
In lieu of flowers, it is the family's request that donations be made to Dudley Memorial to help with the funeral expenses.
