CHARLES EVERT SKIDMORE

Charles Skidmore, 56, of Bluefield, WV went to his heavenly home Sunday, April 3, 2022.

He was born in Chicago, IL and was the son of Evert Skidmore of Chicago, IL and the late Frances Penland. He was a graduate of Graham High School.  Charles was a kind, loving, and generous man.

Charles was preceded in death by his mother.

He is survived by his father: Evert Skidmore and wife, Charlotte; his brothers: Chris Skidmore, Larry Skidmore and wife, Abby all of Chicago, IL; his sisters: Debbie Harmon, Brenda Hammond, and Lisa Lewis of Bluefield and Linda Groves and husband, Joe of Hopkinsville, KY; several nieces and nephews, and special friend: Lola Murray.

A service to celebrate Charles' life will be held Saturday, April 09, 2022 at 1:00 P.M. at Dudley Memorial Chapel with Craig Hammond officiating. Friends may visit with the family on Saturday from 12:00 P.M. until the hour of the service.

In accordance with Charles' wishes, he will be cremated.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to a faith-based substance abuse center, Redeemed & Restored, 2010 Cadiz Rd, Hopkinsville, KY 42240.
