CHARLES JEREMY CARBAUGH

Charles Jeremy Carbaugh, 46, of Bluefield, VA, passed Thursday, January 2, 2020 at his home. Born in Bluefield, WV, he was the son of Larry Ernest and Georgia Edith Newman Carbaugh of Bluefield, VA. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents: Raymond and Mary Buckland Newman; paternal grandparents: Harry and Christine Carbaugh. He was a member of Bible Baptist in Bluefield, WV. Jeremy was a Hamm Radio Operator, liked repairing small motors and engines and loved all things JEEP and Harley Davidson.

Those left to cherish his memory are his parents: Larry and Georgia Carbaugh of Bluefield, VA; his wife: Karen Hope Bailey Carbaugh of Brushfork, WV; children: Anna Stratton of Washington, DC area, Sara Carbaugh of Abbs Valley, VA, Jeremiah Hess; sister: Lori Swetnam and husband, Jared of Bluefield, VA; step-daughter: Kelly Bailey of Bluefield, WV; step-son: Alex Fagio of Knoxville, TN; step-grandchild: Aiden Salyers, whom he dearly loved.

A service to celebrate Jeremy's life will be held Monday, January 6, 2020 at 2:00 P.M. at Dudley Memorial Chapel with Pastor Steve Umberger officiating. Burial will follow at Grandview Memory Gardens. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

Friends may visit with the family from 1:00 P.M. until the hour of the service.
