CHARLES FRANKLIN "BUSTER" GULLION, JR

Charles Franklin "Buster" Gullion, Jr, 70, of Tazewell, VA, went to be with the Lord, Thursday, September 27, 2018 at home surrounded by his daughter and family. He was the son of the late Charles Franklin and Mary Grace Gullion, Sr.  He enjoyed hunting and fishing.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife: Deborah Dawson Gullion; a sister: Wanda Puckett; son-in-law: Charles Horne.

He will be missed by his children: Tressia Armstrong (Kevin) of TN, Chad Johnson of Ohio and Kathy Horne of Thompson, Valley, VA; siblings: Jack Gullion (Susan) of Bluefield, VA, Jimmy Gullion of Pocahontas, VA, Peggy Boardman of Tazewell, VA, Alice Altizer (Moody) of Bandy, VA, Jenny Davis of New Waterford, OH and Patty (Ray) Bucy of Petersburg, VA; 13 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and 1 expected in December; special friends: Henry Brooks and Jerry Ellison and many more friends. The family would like to say thanks to Legacy Hospice for all their help and thank you to a special nurse, Brooke McFland.

A service to celebrate "Buster's" life will be held Monday, October 1, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. at Dudley Memorial Chapel with Pastor Carol Cornwell officiating. Burial will follow at Maple Hill Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Jerry Ellison, Walter Bogle, Chad Horne, Charles Horne, Moody Altizer and Jack Gullion.  Honorary pallbearers will be Braxton Reedey, Dustin Altizer, Mark Dunaway and James Crigger.

Friends may visit with the family on Monday, October 1, 2018 at Dudley Memorial from 10:00 A.M. until the hour of the service.
