CHARLES MARVIN ANGLES

Charles Marvin Angles, 88 of Roanoke, VA and formerly of Bluefield, VA, passed away Thursday, June 25, 2020 at the Virginia Veterans Care Center in Roanoke, VA. Born in Tazewell, VA, he was the son of the late George and Lori Mae Lawson Angles. He was a member of Memorial Baptist Church. He loved to golf, travel and was an avid bowler from his days of playing in the leagues. He loved all sports and was especially supportive of the Graham G-Men, Virginia Tech Hokies and the Washington Redskins. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife: Sarah Akers Angles; siblings: Jim, Eugene and J.C. Angles and Maxine Price.

Those left to cherish his memory are his children: Charles Angles of Little Rock, Arkansas, Steve Angles of Tazewell, VA and Theresa Perdue and husband, Robert of Roanoke, VA; siblings: Janice Pugh, Deborah Bailey both of Bluefield, WV and Ronald Angles of Bluefield; grandchildren: Joseph Angles, John Angles, Ashleigh Angles and Tyler Perdue; great-grandson: Lawson Angles-Rodgers.

A memorial service to celebrate Charles' life will be held Sunday, June 28, 2020 at 2:00 P.M. at Dudley Memorial Chapel with Pastor Bill Lykins officiating. Burial will take place at a later date.

Friends may visit with the family on Sunday at the funeral home from 1:30 P.M. until the hour of service.
