Catherine "Betty" Elizabeth Long Tabor                                                                                                                                                          October 18, 1937 - March 10, 2026

Catherine "Betty" Elizabeth Long Tabor passed away peacefully on March 10, 2026.  Born in Cumberland, MD, she was the daughter of the late Victor Long and Nellie Seitz Long.  Betty was a faithful member of St. Theresa's Catholic Church, Tazewell, Va.  Betty was a kind and generous woman who loved sewing, crafting and gardening.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband Douglas Tabor and her sister Patricia Wickline.

She will be dearly missed by her daughters:  Mary Beth Croteau and husband Donald of Prince Frederick, MD and Anne Pearson and husband Thomas of Lake Ridge, Va as well as her sister:  Vicki Heckman.

A mass of Christian burial will be held Tuesday March 24, 2026 at 11:00am at St. Theresa's Catholic Church with Father Renier Supranes officiating.  Burial will follow at Maple Hill Cemetery, Bluefield, Va.  Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

Friends may visit with the family on Monday March 23, 2026 at Dudley Memorial Mortuary from 5:00pm until 7:00pm.
