CAROLYN SUE FARMER

Carolyn Sue Farmer, 72 of Bland, VA, passed away Sunday, May 05, 2024 at Wythe County Community Hospital. Born in Bluefield, WV, she was the daughter of the late Roy and Adena Burgess Williams.  She was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church in Wytheville, VA.  She enjoyed watching birds, gardening in her flowers and giving special attention to the decorating of her home. She had a fond affection for her "fur babies",2 dogs and a cat, Jenny, Prissy and Winston. By far, Carolyn's favorite role in life was being a Mom and Grandma.  She loved her family passionately. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas "T.C." Cordell Farmer.

She will be lovingly missed by her children: Timothy S. Farmer of Asheville, NC and fiancé, Laura Sims, Jeffrey C. Farmer of Bland, VA and Shelley Davis and companion, Travis Williams of Bluefield, WV, her sister: Patty McReynolds of Bland, VA; granddaughter: Elizabeth Davis; niece: Wendy McReynolds and her family; nephews: Matt McReynolds and Andy McReynolds and their families; special neighbors: Ellis and Vicky Eggleston of Bland, VA

Friends may visit with the family on Thursday, May 09, 2024 at Dudley Memorial Mortuary from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M.

Carolyn will be laid to rest at Grandview Memory Gardens in a private graveside service for the immediate family only.
