Carl Jones, age 78 of Falls Mills, VA passed away after a brief illness, with his wife and family by his side on October 22nd. Preceded in death by son, Michael Jones; sister, Naomi Speith; and brother, Ross Franco. Left to cherish his memory are wife Gaye Fuller Jones; children Margaret and fiancé Ken of SC, Tina, Tom and wife Deanna, Richard and wife Destiny, all of OH, Sharon Goodman and husband Don of VA, Lynn of SC; sisters Rose Lombardo, Donna Jones, brothers Victor Franco and wife Carol, Tony Franco and wife Donna all of OH; 13 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; and special niece and nephews, Maria, Steve, and Danny Carpenter.

Carl was a long time member of Falls Mills United Methodist Church where he served as usher and president of the United Methodist men. He retired from Kaiser Permante Hospital of Cleveland, OH after 37 years of service; prior to, Carl served in the United States Army as a cook. His favorite hobby was cooking for church functions.

Services will be held at Falls Mills United Methodist Church on, Saturday October 24. Visitation will be from 2-4 pm, funeral services to follow at 4 pm. Special music will be provided by Pam Sarver and Karen Hale. According to his wishes, Carl will be cremated and interment will follow at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial donations to the Falls Mills United Methodist Church at PO Box 57 Falls Mills, VA 24613. Officiating at the service will be Dr. Ken Sprinkle and Rev. Ted Anders. Grandsons and special friends will serve as pallbearers.
