Caden Todd Faulkner

Caden Todd Faulkner was born into Heaven on February 9, 2026, and into the loving arms of his family on February 11, 2026, at VCU Medical Center in Richmond, Virginia.

He weighed 1 pound 8 ounces and measured 13 inches long—perfect in every way, with ten tiny fingers and ten tiny toes. A tiny footprint leaving behind a giant impact.

Caden is cherished by his mother, Alise Bailey, and his father, Austin Faulkner, and lovingly remembered by his siblings, Isabella, Landon, and Kayleigh Faulkner.

He is survived by his grandparents, Mike and Carmen Bailey, Amy Faulkner, Grant Blackburn and his great-grandparents, George and Susan Faulkner, Dennis Griffith and Jimmy Bailey

He was welcomed into Heaven by his uncle, Joshua Bailey; his great-aunt, Madison Muir; and his great- and great-great-grandparents, including Sandra Griffith, Garland W. Whitman "Buddy," Linda Bailey, Norma "Sue" Williams, and Billy Williams.

Though Caden never opened his eyes on Earth, his family finds peace in knowing that the very first thing he saw when he opened them was the face of Jesus—Heaven as his first sight, in a perfect and whole body.

An angel opened the Book of Life and wrote down our baby's birth, then whispered as she closed the book, "Too perfect for Earth ."

A memorial service will be held in his honor on Saturday, May 9 at 4 PM at Dudley Memorial mortuary in Bluefield VA, Virginia
