BRIDGET STILTNER ROMANO SOUTHERN

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our daughter, Bridget Stiltner Romano Southern on Friday, September 13, 2019 at the age of 33. Bridget was born on October 19, 1985 to her loving parents, Douglas and Rebecca Stiltner. She was raised in Bland County, VA where she graduated with Honors in 2003 from Bland High School. She was an accomplished athlete in basketball, volleyball and also cheerleading. Bridget was a sweet caring soul that loved to write poetry in her journal and listen to music. She enjoyed trips to the beach with her children and family. Bridget's sweet smile and laughter will be sorrowfully missed here on earth but heaven will shine a little brighter.

In addition to her parents, she will be lovingly and affectionately missed by her husband: Jimmy Southern of Wytheville, VA; her sisters: Heather Arnold of Bland County, VA and Erin Bailey of West Palm Beach, FL. Bridget also leaves two beautiful children: her son: "Kary" and her daughter: "Jocelyn. She is also survived by her grandfather: Keith Stiltner and numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.

A memorial service to celebrate Bridget's life will be held, Sunday, September 22, 2019 at 3:00 P.M. at Dudley Memorial Chapel with Minister Tony Reed officiating. Friends may visit with the family on Sunday at Dudley Memorial from 2:00 P.M. until the hour of the service.
