BRENDA JEAN TAYLOR REMINES JOHNSON

Brenda Jean Taylor Remines Johnson, 72 of Bluefield, VA, passed away Tuesday, April 19, 2022.  Born in Narrows, VA, she was the daughter of the late Sarah Annola Caldwell Taylor and Orville Roy Taylor, Sr. She earned her BSN RN degree and worked at Bluefield Regional Medical Center for 20 years.  She also was the Regional Coordinator for RFTS (Right from the Start) with CASE WV.  Brenda enjoyed camping, fishing and spending time with her grandchildren.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: James "Jim" Monroe Johnson; her companion: Jerry Robertson; her great-grandson: Matthew Stevens.

Those left to cherish her memory are her son: Gary Remines; 4 granddaughters: Jessica Stevens, Cassie Dillow, Grace and Sarah Remines; great-grandchildren: Elijah, Maci, Kolin and Savannah; brothers: Mark Taylor and wife, Judy and Orville Taylor and wife, Ann; furbaby, the lively, loving Yorkie of the home: Jacob Taylor "Jake" Johnson.

A service to celebrate Brenda's life will be held Saturday, April 30, 2022 at Dudley Memorial Chapel at 2:00 P.M. with her brothers, Orville Taylor and Mark Taylor officiating.

Friends may visit with the family on Saturday from 1:00 P.M. until the hour of the service.

In keeping with her wishes, Brenda's body will be cremated.
