Brenda K Epperson

Brenda K Epperson, 77 of Bluefield, WV, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 4, 2024. She was the daughter of the late Henry C. Penland and Thelma V. Penland. Brenda was a BSN, RN who served as the administrator of the Maples nursing home in Bluefield WV for more than twenty plus years. Brenda was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She also loved numerous pets. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Jean Oliver, Granddaughters Kayla Shelton, and Leeah Tolbert.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband; Don Epperson; brother: Leon Penland of Maryland; sisters: Joyce Leonard of Virginia and Pamela Penland-Jollie of South Carolina; son: Robert Shelton; daughters: Pamela Beth Tolbert and Jamie Epperson; granddaughter: Megan Shelton; great-grandson: Levi Meadows; special niece: Melissa Akers; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

A service to celebrate Brenda's life will be held Monday, February 12, 2024, at Grandview Memory Mausoleum Chapel at 2:00 P.M. with Pastor C.T. Lilly officiating.

Friends may visit with the family on Monday at Grandview Mausoleum Chapel from 1:30 P.M. until the hour of service.

Those wishing to attend the service are asked to meet at Grandview Mausoleum Chapel no later than 1:45 P.M.
