Brenda Faye Ball, 69, of Bluefield, Virginia, passed away at her home on September 11, 2025.

She was born on April 27, 1956, in Jewel Ridge, Virginia, to Irene and Albert Smith. Brenda was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She was married to her beloved husband, Stephen Keith Ball of Bluefield.

Brenda is survived by her children, Jon and Jobeth, and her stepchildren, Alisha and Stephen. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Lorian. She was also blessed with several grandchildren who were the joy of her life.

She worked for many years as a cook at several hospitals before dedicating herself to being a full-time mother and grandmother. Known for her kindness and generosity, Brenda was always willing to lend a helping hand. She especially loved cooking, often preparing meals not only for her family but also for her neighbors and friends, sharing her warmth through her food.

Her legacy of love, care, and community spirit will live on in the hearts of those who knew her.

Services for Brenda will be held privately for family and close friends at a later date.
