BOBBY WAYNE HALL
Bobby Wayne Hall, 77, of Bluefield, VA, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, March 6, 2015. Born in Greensboro, NC, he was the son of the late Jesse James and Willie Annie Campbell Hall. He was a salesman for Betsy Ross Bakery for many years and also worked for Frito Lay most recently. Bobby was a faithful member of Parkview Baptist Church where he also served as a deacon. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Lana Fay Hall; brothers, Jerry and Jimmy Hall; sister, Dare Simmons; granddaughter, Andrea Sheri Meadows.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 37 years, Rosa Steigerwald Hall; children: Robin Lambert and husband Mike of Cayce, SC, Bobby Wayne Hall II and wife Michele of Goodview, VA, Glendell Scott Meadows of Bluefield, VA, Sandra Lynn Meadows of Bluefield, VA; sister: Jane Morris and husband, Roy of Greensboro, NC; grandchildren: Tiffany Lynn and Lana Michelle Lambert of Cayce, SC, Andrew Scott and Anthony Sean Meadows of Bluefield, VA and Rylee Brooke Meadows of Hopewell, VA; great-grandchild: Dillon Meadows; an extended family of nieces and nephews; special friends: Peter and Betsy West; loving and caring nursing and staff of Legacy Hospice
A service to celebrate Bobby's life will be held on Monday, March 9, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at Parkview Baptist Church, Bluefield, VA with Pastor Jim Drake officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Scott Meadows, Bob Mahood, Mark Smith, Clyde Smith, Ken Dye and Peter J West. Honorary pallbearers will be Copol Leung, Jack Fields, Preston Hare, Rod Reed, Paul Osbourne, Earl French, Bob Riggins, Don Copley and Eddie Neel. Family Honorary pallbearers will be Anthony Meadows, Andrew Meadows, Mike Lambert and Bobby Wayne Hall II.
The family invites friends to visit with them Sunday March 8, 2015 at Parkview Baptist Church from 5-7 p.m.
