BILLY EUGENE EARLS, SR.

Billy Eugene Earls, Sr, 90, went home to be with the Lord, Tuesday, April 29, 2025 at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital, Roanoke, VA.  Born in Cane Brake, WV, he was the son of the late Carl Neil and Sally Mae Perry Earls.  He had served his country in the United States Army and worked as a lineman for Appalachian Power Company and as a miner for Consol.  Billy was a faithful member of Riverside Community Church.  He was a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather and was the last surviving member of his immediate family.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings: John Earls, Doug Earls and his wife, Billie, Lorette Asbury and husband, Clyde and Brenda Bowling and husband, Jack.

He will be lovingly missed by his wife of 67 years: Velta Jean Angles Earls; his son: Billy Earls, Jr and his wife, Kim of Hurricane, WV; grandchildren: Luke Earls of Charlotte, Nc and Kelly Thornton of Sugar Land, TX; great-grandchildren: Izzy and Sam Thornton; sister-in-law: Boots Earls of TN; an extended family of nieces, nephews and cousins.

A service to celebrate Billy's life will be held Friday, May 02, 2025 at 1:00 P.M. at Grandview Memory Mausoleum Chapel with Pastor Matthew Hale officiating.

Friends may visit with the family on Friday at Grandview Memory Mausoleum Chapel from 12:00 P,M. until the hour of the service.
