Billie Marie Crawford Poseno, age 94 years old, of Bluefield, WV, passed away at home on November 19, 2022. She was born November 15, 1928 in McDowell County, WV. She was previously a resident of Florida. She was the daughter of the late William A. Crawford and Edna Mae Taylor Crawford.
She was a faithful Christian, served as a Sunday school teacher, and always helped anyone in need. She loved babies and children and worked in child care while in Florida. She made friends easily and was loved by everyone. She never forgot anyone's birthday or anniversary. She made the best salmon patties, biscuits with gravy and cornbread.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Poseno, daughter, Billie Lockhart and son, Samuel Poseno, step-daughter, Mary Dalton, step-son Clarence Poseno, sister, Edna Furches, brothers,  George Crawford, Alfred Crawford, Arthur Crawford and Emory Crawford, son-in-law, Larry Wimmer. She is survived by her daughter, Kathy Wimmer, with whom she resided,  Patsy Grimes (Eddie) of Maryland, sister, Ruth Rumley of Rock Falls, IL, grandchildren Bobby Lockhart (Nikki), Ruthie Lockhart, Kelsey Wimmer (Bethany),  Cody Wimmer who was also her caregiver, great-grandchildren, Carley, Caden, Ian, Chase, Nicholas, and Christian, and several nieces and nephews-that she dearly loved.
She will be missed by all who knew her.
A small family funeral will be held at Dudley Memorial Mortuary on Wednesday, November 23 2022 with Evangelist Fred Furches presiding. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
