It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Wanda, surrounded by her loving family, at Heritage Hall in Tazewell, Va.  Born on June 26, 1936 in Copperhill, TN, Wanda lived a full vibrant life.  Her journey through life was marked by love, devotion and unwavering commitment to family and faith.

Wanda was the cherished daughter of Albert James Burton and Leatha Pearl Garrett Burton Davis.   She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, her first husband and father of her children, John Henry Seabolt ("June") and her second husband, Willis G. Caudill.  Wanda was also preceded in death by her brothers, Buddy Burton, George Burton, Robert Burton and James Burton, and sisters, Mildred Ripley, Junie Lester, Janet Eisenhower, Macy Melvin, Edith Farmer and Eva Wakeland.  She is the last of her 10 siblings.

Despite these profound losses, Wanda's legacy lives on through her devoted children, Venessa Turner (James), Kelvin Seabolt (Amy), Rhonda Wimmer (Kyle).  Her love and wisdom continue to inspire her grandchildren, Carrie McGlothlin (Roderick), Christina Osborne (Mark), Jonathan Seabolt (Traci), Amanda Wimmer, Adam Wimmer (Tina), Brittany Treadway (Chris), Sarah Rodgers (Jameson) and Kristen Miller (Aaron).   Wanda was also blessed with the joy of watching her great- grandchildren grow and spending time with them, Anna McGlothlin Mullins, Brooke Osborne, Matthew Osborne, Noah Seabolt, Ada Wimmer, Evie Wimmer, Christian Treadway, Colton Treadway, and Cannon Treadway, and her most recent great-grandchildren, Shepherd Rodgers and Link Miller.  She also was blessed with a great-great granddaughter, Aspen Mullins.   Additionally, she leaves behind her stepchildren, Willis Caudill, Jr., and Jackie Coffey (Tony), and family, Brad Thompson, Aiden and Peyton Lawson, Extended family Angela Hill, (Tom), Shannon Hrycyk (Mike), Shawn Mende (Kristen), Elizabeth Mende, Matthew Mende. Additionally,  "Aunt Wanda" was loved and admired by a host of nieces and nephews whom she held dear in her heart.

Wanda lived in Bluefield WV and later moved to the Virginia side where she married her high school sweetheart, John Henry Seabolt in 1954.  They spent their first year together with family in Chicago before returning to Bluefield.  Together they built a loving family and spend 28 years together until his passing in 1982.   Wanda found companionship again with Willis Caudill for 30 years until he passed in 2019.

A proud graduate of Bluefield High School, class of 1953, Wanda dedicated over 40 years of her life's career at Aramark (Rental Uniform), retiring at the age of 70.  She loved her work, and many co-workers became close loving friends.  Her work ethic and dedication were admired by all who knew her.

Wanda was a woman of deep faith, attending Memorial Baptist Church and the Bluefield Church of God in her earlier years.  For the past 32 years she has been an active member of the Thompson Valley Church of God.  Her "church family" was special to her.  Her love for serving others and singing hymns was a testament to her devotion to her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

She delighted in her family and embraced each new grandchild with open arms and "Nanny's" special attention.  Wanda's home was a haven for family celebrations and reunions, where her love for cooking, baking and hosting shone brightly.  Her passions extended to working in her yard, caring for her many beloved pets, including "Charlie" being her most loyal companion.   She loved walking, singing, sewing, hairstyling, helping others with projects and travel.  She cherished her trips to the beach and to Tennessee, Kentucky, Ohio, Georgia, Wisonsin and Florida to spend time with family.  In her youthful days, she enjoyed gardening, picking berries, canning, aerobics, dancing, camping and trips to Pigeon Forge.

Wanda was a pillar of strength, always there at a moment's notice for anyone in need. Her family was her priority and her love knew no bounds.   Her warmth, kindness and unwavering support will be deeply missed but cherished in the hearts of those who knew her.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Wanda's memory to the Thompson Valley Church of God, 8432 Thompson Valley Rd. Tazewell, Va 24651 or to a charity of choice.
