BETTY GENEVA AMOS

Betty Amos, 85, of Bluefield VA, passed away Thursday, July 11, 2019 at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital. She will be greatly missed by all that knew her. Born April 6, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Joseph M. and Alberta W. Bowles Leedy. She was preceded in death by her husband, Junior C. Bowles, 8 brothers and 4 sisters.

Survivors include daughters: Judy Amos and Linda Wyatt of Bluefield VA; grandson: Ron Wyatt and wife, Shonnie; great grandson: Gage Wyatt all of Bluefield VA; brother: Henry Leedy and wife, Louise also of Bluefield VA.

A service to celebrate Betty's life will be held Sunday, July 14, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. at Dudley Memorial Chapel with Pastor Kathy Hagerman officiating. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Friends may visit with family from 1:00 P.M. till the hour of service. Interment will follow at Grandview Memory Gardens. Friends and family may also visit at the home of Ron and Shonnie Wyatt at 186 Burgess Dr. (Deerfield) Bluefield VA.
