Barry Leroy McGhee of Bluefield, WV passed away on February 15, 2016. He was born March 14, 1956 to the late Ernest Howard McGhee and Virginia Mae Fletcher McGhee. He was a graduate of Bluefield High School and earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Virginia Tech in 2002.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers: Richard Delbert McGhee and Charles Ernest McGhee and nephew: Charles Ernest McGhee Jr. He is survived by his daughters: Crystal and Alisha; grandchildren: Mathew and Kayla; his special cousin and partner in crime: Anita; brother: Frank; sisters: Ann and Susan; and numerous nieces and nephews. "Uncle Barry" is survived by a host of additional family and friends.

Barry never met a stranger and made friends wherever he went. He was always there for family and friends to offer help and advice. He passed along a wealth of knowledge to those blessed enough to have known him. He will forever be remembered and cherished.

The family would like to give special thanks to the Richard R Dart ALS Clinic and to his amazing caregivers that we were blessed with.

Family and friends will gather at 4:00 pm, Saturday, August 12, 2017 at The Railyard for a celebration of his life.
