BARRY "BUCK" LANE KEGLEY

Barry "Buck" Lane Kegley, 73 of Bluefield, VA, passed away unexpectedly, Wednesday, February 12, 2025 at WVU Princeton Community Hospital.  Born in Bluefield, WV, he was the son of the late Ralph Hoover Kegley and Eula Mae Busic Kegley McFarland.  He was a graduate of Graham High School and had retired from the Verizon phone company after 35 years of service.  He enjoyed wood working and tending to his yard.  Buck was a humorist, with a quick wit, always laughing and joking with those he came in contact with.  His jovial nature was what attracted people to him.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepfather: Rev. Thomas Vernon McFarland; his brothers: Larry Randall Kegley and Terry Wayne Kegley.

He will be lovingly missed by his wife of 53 years: Sandra Sue Keen Kegley of Bluefield, VA; his pride and joy, his daughter: Alisha Webb and husband, Clay of De Soto, MO; his brother; Danny Lynn Kegley of North Tazewell, VA; an extended family of nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

In keeping with his wishes, he will be cremated.  There will be no public visitation or service.
