BARBARA GAIL PATRICK PAYNE

Barbara Gail Patrick Payne, 79 of Deland, FL and formerly of Bluefield, VA, passed away Sunday, October 23, 2022.  Born in Bluefield, VA, she was the daughter of the late Willard Patrick and Helen Lawson Patrick.  She was a member of City Sanctuary Church in Deland, FL and enjoyed attending Bible studies.  She was an active volunteer for the city of Deland, FL. Barbara had retired from the Department of Interior as a secretary.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings: Wanda Patrick and Jerry Patrick.

Those left to cherish her memory are her sons: Matthew Fox of St. Petersburg, FL, Kevin Fox of Dayton, VA and Jeffrey Fox of Edgewater, FL; her siblings: Danny Patrick and wife, Jeannie of Bluefield, WV, Judy Harris and husband, Arthur of Danville, VA and Rita Sutley and husband, John of Rochester, WA; grandchildren: Dan Fox, Bethany Fox, Jennifer Cash and Jessica Fox; great-grandson: Adam McCall.

A service to celebrate Barbara's life will be held Friday, October 28, 2022 at 12:00 P.M. at Bluefield Virginia Church of God, 104 Highland Avenue, Bluefield, VA 24605 with Rev. Tony Ellis officiating. Burial will follow at Grandview Memory Gardens.

Friends may visit with the family at the church on Friday from 11:00 A.M. until the hour of the service.
