AUDREY VIRGINIA BUSIC

Audrey Busic of Bluefield, VA passed away, Feb 13, 2021. She was 89. Audrey was born on July 25, 1931 in Floyd County, Va.

Audrey was mostly a homemaker, however, she worked for a few years at Rental Uniform, Comfort Inn, and Walmart.

She enjoyed crocheting, gardening, reading her devotionals, and cuddling her cat Smokey who thinks he is a dog. She was known for her "home-cooking" and especially her buttermilk biscuits, cornbread and potato soup. She was endeared by her grandchildren. She was well cared for by her daughters and son-in-laws. She was treated like a queen.

Audrey is preceded in death by her husband Troy Busic, and her daughter Drema Busic, parents Lester and Bertha Umberger, brothers Nathan Umberger, Buddy Umberger, Earl Umberger, and sister Opal Price.

She is survived by her daughter Sonja Busic and husband Danny Brewer of Blfd WV, Anita McGuire of Blfd, VA, Chris Bourne and husband Jody of Mint Hill, NC; grandchildren Frank Brewer of Blfd, WV, Heath Bandy and wife Ashley of Mint Hill, NC, Brandon Bandy and wife Jenny of Indian Trail, NC, Jessica Morris and husband Scott of Matthews, NC, Hannah Bourne of Mint Hill, NC, Benjamin Bourne of Charlotte, NC; and great granddaughter Audrey Bandy of Indian Trail, NC.

A private graveside service will be held for family with David Busic officiating.
