Allen Pritt, 81 of Bluefield, WV, passed away Wednesday, June 24, 2020 at his home.  Born in Greenbrier County, WV, he was the son of the late Fred and Mandy Pritt.  Allen had worked for Aberdeen Proving Grounds in Aberdeen, Maryland and had served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam era.  He was the Vice Commander of the American Legion Post #128 in Aberdeen Maryland for many years.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 10 brothers and sisters.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife: Barbara Baldwin Pritt; sons: Allen Pritt, Jr of Bluefield, VA, William Haines of Aberdeen, MD and John Haines and wife, Tammy of Bluefield, WV; sisters: Lena Clutter of Hickory, MD, Sylvia Kohlbus of Havre de Grace, MD and Lela Authenreiht of Rural Retreat, VA; grandchildren: David Pritt, Matthew Pritt, Katherine Haines, Allen Pritt III and Jaynie Haines; an adopted granddaughter: Aimee Hambrick; 11 great-grandchildren; 1 great great-grandchild.

A service to honor Allen's life will be held Saturday, August 1, 2020  from 12:00-4:00 P.M. at the American Legion Post #128 facility in Aberdeen, MD.
